About this event

Dr. Kylin Lee from the Counseling and Health Center will lead us in exploring how to use meditation as a mindfulness practice. While we are constantly trying to juggle various responsibilities in school, jobs, and organizations, while also navigating the stressors of the world today, meditation can give you a sense of calm, peace, and balance that can benefit your emotional well-being and overall health. Developing a regular practice of meditation can help reduce stress and anxiety, as well as help you have a more positive outlook on life!

Attendees will receive a free blanket (so you can comfortably sit on the grass) and will be entered into a drawing for a gratitude journal! Attend 4 or more Self-Care Saturday programs to be entered into a drawing for a HUGE self-care bundle package.

Space is limited, and RSVP is strongly encouraged.

Mosaic encourages you to engage mindfully in experiences outside of the classroom, reflect on your experiences, and articulate the meaning of your experiences to others. This event will help you: Construct a Well-Managed Life and Develop 21st-Century Skills.

Organized by

Mosaic is Southwestern's co-curricular approach to holistic student development. We encourage you to engage mindfully in experiences outside of the classroom, reflect on those experiences, and articulate the value of those experiences to others. Our events are intentionally designed with these three practices in mind.
